Dunstone Still can’t find that ”big” title

Team Jacobs will be Canada’s representatives on the men’s side. 6-5 win to sweep Dunstone. Gallant becomes the first Canadian to compete in both men’s and mixed doubles.

OLYMPIC QUALIFIED!!! Team Jacobs beat Team Dunstone 6-5 in game 2 of the best-of-three men’s final at Olympic Trials, and will represent us in Milano-Cortina! Was rooting for Dunstone, but hard to be that sad at this. Team Jacobs is definitely our best chance at a medal.

Happy for the entire team, but I couldn’t be happier for Fleury. Still remember how last Olympic Trials went down, Fleury was 8-0 heading into the final, it was heartbreaking to see her lose it in an extra end to Jones. Usually it’s a once in a lifetime experience, so when you lose it there’s always that “what if” in your head, now she can put all of that behind. She deserves this

Yeah, still unfortunate for Black. I’m excited to see what they can do at the Scotties, wide open with Homan out, Einarson is the slight favourite but Black, Lawes, Skrlik, Sturmay could all win.
