The only ones complaining about the short track refs are Italians, imo. Not even on this forum, but in general, from what I've been seeing on live chats and other social media sites. That says a lot to be honest. I suspect it's partially due to them not performing to the high standard they're expected to perform at especially at the Olympics. The refs make a lot of mistakes for everyone, there's no bias against or towards anyone Plus, Italy have won 6 medals already.... the most you've won at a Worlds since 2016.

There was some initial disappointment at first, but got over it quite quickly. Happy for and I hope they can win a medal in LA with their MLB players there!

I don't know how soon that'll be though... and until then not holding my breath. Really wanted to see Caissie crushing balls at the Olympics, he deserved it for his play this tournament, and now he might not get the opportunity to. He's still young, but this will probably be Canada's best chance, and he'll only be around for Brisbane 2032 at best considering the bids in contention for 2036. It just sucks, constant disappointment for the Canadians this year with barely anything to cheer for, and coming so close only to come up short... I'd rather us have just lost in the group stage

I'm annoyed because Venezuela will have like 20 more opportunities for future Olympics, for Canada this is going to be our best chance in the next couple decades. Not pleased.
