  1. Women's Euro 2025 finals draw is underway. and in the same group
  2. Lei Peifan (#84) becomes the lowest ranked player to win a ranking event since 1993 after winning Scottish Open.
  3. Checking results & watching the sport are two different things Plus thanks to @hckošiceI know the results faster than if I checked them on FIS website (which I don't).
  4. I bet Jacquelin was mighty angry after JTB tripped him on the last climb. He left the finish area in like five seconds
  5. Five in top seven. Yawn. Two in top 30 and neither of them shot 10/10. That's a major shock.
  6. An outside chance for Jan Guńka to score some points with 9/10 shoot.
  7. What happened with Hanna Oeberg? Barely beat Kulm & Horodna with the same number of misses Arnekleiv slower on skis than a Lithuanian?
  8. No chance for Poland vs Spain or Pays Bas but Finland and Lithuania have had a terrible 2024 so maybe we can reach the playoffs again. It's been forever since we played Malta, probably the most elusive team usually drawn from the last pot. We only played them 4 times in history (WC 1982 qualifying + two friendlies in 1999 and 2003).
  9. And Poland gets drawn into a group with the loser of Nations League QF vs
  10. beats 30-28. Still one match left vs
  11. Antoni Kowalski wins another one and makes the Last 16
  12. How many days until the light bulbs?
  13. Oh great, the Nowegian Championships presented by FIS have started again Zero interest in this sport at this stage. I'll probably tune in to watch a couple of races at the World Champs and that is that. Actually emeritus Johaug winning makes Norwegians look kinda awkward. Guess their Next Gen isn't that sharp whatsoever but like who outside of Norway (and maybe Sweden) cares?
  14. Man, that Spanish team must really suck. beat 31-21 with mighty ease.
  15. Matthew Stevens also had a chance to steal the match with a buzzer beater but missed the brown and lost to Wu Yize 52-51.
  16. Andrew Higginson with the coolest finish to pot the match ball with one second left. And he most certainly didn't rush the scoreboard
  17. Yeah, Powell had a chance for a late rally but was clearly rushed with cue ball travelling a lot of ground. Just no experience with time efficiency in this format. So that's one thousand pounds earned for Kowalski
  18. Elliott Slessor winning 7-1 is the lowest points total in Shoot Out ever or did I miss something? Also Chris Wakelin's defense ended in R1 but drawing Ali Carter right away was bad enough.
  19. Gotta love the race walk nitpicking. 50km is too long and boring! Hell, let's do marathon distance in walk now There will be more throws in field events now alas it's only a change for a change. At least this automatically means the longest marks will still win. Just no chance someone steals gold or silver from outside the podium with the last effort.
  20. Antoni Kowalski actually won his R1 frame/match
  21. And it's over. beat 1-0 & 1-0 and has qualified for Euro 2025. Just so happens it's Ewa Pajor's birthday today.
  22. I didn't want to jinx it after leg one which Poland won 1-0 but our women's NT might just qualify for European Championships for the very first time
  23. Most of these awards are popularity contests anyway. One can argue Hassan winning over SLL is equally nonsensical
  24. He won this award three times already. Probably wanted someone new to win it
  25. Goodbye single digit numbers winning in biathlon (in non-pursuit & mass start races anyway)
