"Senior UEFA administrators, including the ex-secretary general and current FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, personally intervened to encourage settlements with big clubs, while the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB), the UEFA department that investigates rule breaches, aggressively pursued poorer clubs in the likes of Turkey and Romania.”

  11. Okay, let me try to understand AIBA's logic. Rakhimov steps aside for ONE year and then they think IOC will suddenly forget all about the man they described as "One of Uzbekistan's leading criminals", and IOC will say, "You know AIBA, because Rakhimov has been on the side line for one year, you have showed the will to change things. You will keep the rights to organise Olympic boxing". I don't really understand the logic? Update:

  18. This is from FloGymnastics. "But the FIG breaks ties by dropping the gymnast's lowest event score and taking the execution scores of the remaining five events. Whoever has the highest execution total wins the tie". According to FloGymnastics rule number 1 does not exist because they take rule number 2 in account?... This is how I understand it. There are 6 apparatus in the final. If two gynmnasts are tied. This happens: Add the 5 highest scores the gymnast has scored in the final. (Dalaloyan and Ruoteng, delete their worst score) Add the 5 other scores. Dalaloyan final score, with worst score deleted: 74,198 points Ruoteng final score, with worst score deleted: 73,465 points I.e Dalaloyan wins gold.
  19. Nope. It's the sum of the 5 highest scores. Not confusing at all.
