Harmilan Bains of India won silver yesterday in 1500m This is her second 1500 m in Asiad. Once when she was in her mother's womb in 1998 and yesterday when she won 🥈 in 1500 m Hunagzhou Asian Games. Her mother also won 🥈 for India in 2002 Busan Asian Games when Harmilan was 4 years old

Huge drama in women's 100m hurdles as the officials tried to DQ Jyothi Yarraji along with Wu even though Wu was the first by country mile. Totally disrupted Jyothi's mind. Lin won gold in the end and Jyothi silver, Wu DQ

Dressage really made a huge wave today in India. First equestrian gold since 1982 and first dressage medal since 1986. Had my friends asking about the discipline showed them the highlights and they were waiting for the horse to jump when they realized there were no hurdles at all and watched some best dressage videos of past world champs and enjoyed it.

It looks like cricket is all but assured to return to the LA2028 games along with flag football as confirmed by various Indian and Australian sources. The organizing committee agreed to add cricket on the condition that flag football be included.

An Indian news channel interviewed Thomas Bach who said cricket could be part of future games, but to have it in 2028 would depend on organizing committee.

I think is lock for cricket. They finished top 8 in the most recent WC and also have qualified for ODI WC. Nordic countries host a lot of international cricket and have a stadiums too. Denmark has even played at WC before.

Would be interesting how European nations decide if at all something like that happens. I believe British Isles and the surrounding , Nordic Countries, Spain, France, Portugal, Turkey etc almost 90% of Europe would go for cricket. If at all we have the games in Africa (just imagination for now) it'll be cricket. Except Korea, Taiwan, China, Japan all of Asia would go for cricket too.

Yeah swimming too along with a cut in quotas in judo, remove team events in fencing,mens football, synchronized swimming, completely eliminate modern pentathlon, dressage, breakdancing, skateboarding and we'll have a great games
