The organizing committee does not have much scheduling experience. It's a disaster. They should concentrate the gross of the medals on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and not on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This would improve the on-site and TV audience.

Mara Colombo seems to be a really nice person. She's crying and celebrating for winning a medal. How nice! Very beautiful moment. Got a tear in my eye here. Love her attitude.

The women's trampoline final was pretty good, but the men's final was a disaster. I can't believe Adorno lost a medal thanks to a silly mistake! At least Venezuela got a medal. They deserved one in gymnastics.

Noooo. :cry: He's been South American champion many times. He deserved a medal here more than anyone else, probably. Too sad. Hope he still gets support. He's amazing.

The states grants for the athletes have a strong reasons in  "medals obtein ", like he doesnt has one, he can has that bad consequences........stupid, but there is a fundamentalism in the medals results for the economical support.

I think south american medals won't matter anymore for that. I read that now only panamerican medalists or olympic level will receive money.

      It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.

      Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt

      The problem is, the World Cup is not a local event. Overall it's another storm in a teacup. LGBT rights in Muslim countries won't change a damn inch becuse of one soccer match in Seattle
