Sarita Singh almost near to her NR in Hamer throw and qualifies to the Asian Games. Even if not that throw she would make it to the team. She is the only other athlete after China n Japan in top this year.

Indian athlete result analysis of 58TH NATIONAL INTER STATE SR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

100mM - Siva Kumar, 23 yrs - 10.42s   NR (10.26s) -

                Elakkiya Dasan Indian best this season @ 10.31s could only time 10.46s,  AG18 QS  was 10.18s :facepalm:no one would go for AG18

200mM:- Md Anas , 23 yrs  - 20.95s  NR (20.66s)  - AG18 QS was 20.87s  he has best of 20.74 ran earlier this month, so he would make the cut.

400mM :- Arokia Rajiv, 27 yrs 45.78s NR (45.31s) - AG18 QS was 46.04s, Anas has 45.31s this season.

               great to see Arokia come back so strong to make the cut has 2nd person in the event.

800mM:- Jinson, 27yrs - 1.45:65s breaks the 42yr old NR to be leader in Asia in 800m this season. Manjit too has the best of 1.46.24s to be 4th in Asia

1500mM :- Jinson, 27 yrs - 3.45:12s was way back of AG18 QS, But he broke the NR this season and is the Asian leader this season.

110mHM :- Siddhanth Thingalaya 26 yrs - 13.77s was tad back of AG18 QS (13.66s) - has best of 13.75s this season

400mHM:- DHARUN AYYASAMY, 49.68s makes the cut but has NR this season

                  SANTHOSH KUMAR 21 yrs 50.10 too makes the cut for AG18

3000mSC :- Naveen Kumar has made the cut with season best with 8:39.42 makes the cut

High Jump:- Chethan jumps 2.25m to make the cut for AG18

                    Siddharth too has a season best of 2.25m

Long Jump:- Sreeshankar 7.67m jump just of the AG18QS, though has a 7.99m this season coming back out of surgery is shaping well for the AG

Triple Jump:- Arpinder 17.09m makes the cut for the AG18 Rakesh babu with 16.63m too makes the cut.

Shot put :- Tejender had only 19.37m , Naveen with 19.27m doesn't make the cut but have season best above the AG18QS

Javelin:- Shivpal had a 82.28m to make the cut for Ag18

200m:- Hima times a 23.10s to make the cut which is the 3rd best in Asia this season till now.

               Dutee times 23.41s to make the cut. AG18 QS was 23.50s.

400m :-  HIMA DAS  times 51.13s to make the cut which is 2nd best in Asia this season

                 NIRMLA times 51.25s to make the cut and is 3rd best in Asia. AG18 QS was 52.47s

1500m :- CHITRA P U  times 4:11.55s to make the cut and is leading this season in Asia

                  MONIKA CHAUDHARY  times 4:12.44s to make the cut and is 2nd best this season. AG18 QS was 4.16:88s

5000m :- SANJEEVINI JADHAV  times 15.38:78s to make the cut. AG18 QS was 15.45:00

400mH:- JAUNA MURMU times 57.02s to make the cut. AG18 QS was 57.52s

3000mSC :- Sudha Singh makes the cut with 9:39.59s. AG18 QS was 9.50:00s

 

Discus :- SANDEEP KUMARI  makes the cut with 58.41m. AG18QS was 57.00m

Hammer:-SARITA R SINGH makes the cut with 63.28m.

Hepathlon:- Purnima with 5898 and Swapna with 5725 points makes the cut. AG18 Qs was 5400points

PN:- the timings n distance can change till August with more events to take place

Men

200m:- Md Anas no medal chances

400m :- Arokia Rajiv would  make the finals

                Anas would get a Bronze

800m:- Jinson should get  Gold if he repeats the NR performance.

               Manjit should make the top 8

1500m :- Jinson should get gold with a repeat of NR performance

110mHM :- Siddhanth Thingalaya should make top 8

400mHM:- DHARUN AYYASAMY should make top 8 and be max 4th place at best

3000mSC :- Naveen Kumar should make top 8

High Jump:- Chethan, Siddharth should be in Top 8

Long Jump:- Sreeshankar should be in top 8 if regained fully from illness.

Triple Jump:- Arpinder should be in top 3 if he repeats the same performance

Shot put :- Tejender, Naveen should be top 2 medalists at present situation

Javelin:- Shivpal should be in top 3 with Neeraj all set to get the Gold

    • This might be unpopular but it would allow way more sports and quotas and cities to host at a lower cost. 
    • I think Julia Tannheimer will continue to perform so well on the flatter courses in Ruhpolding and Antholz, which will suit her technique. Oberhof will be more exciting, the courses are very demanding, but quite comparable to the World Championships in Lenzerheide. That's why I'm really looking forward to Oberhof this season. Anyone who can cope well with the courses in Oberhof should also be able to run at the front at the World Championships.

    • Thanks for your predictions, they are very interesting.   But here it will be a different format. Combined events - pairs of athletes, one male/female will perform in downhill and other will perform in slalom. E.g. Team SUI 1 Odermatt plus Meillard.
    • Interesting (optimistic) predictions for GB. Don‘t See Them winning 5 golds (more than China and as many as Canada). I think 3 golds are more Realistic (Brookes + 2 in curling/skeleton). Especially gold for Bankes seems To be a rather optimistic prediction, given that Casta is 11 years younger and just beat Bankes.
    • Medal Table (Change from 2022)    - 20 (+4)  - 13 (+1)  - 13 (+5)  - 9 (+7)  - 9 (=)  - 7 (+2)  - 7 (=)  - 6 (-2)  - 6 (-1)  - 5 (+1)  - 5 (+4)  - 4 (+1)  - 4 (-5)  - 3 (+2)  - 2 (=)  - 1 (=)  - 1 (+1)      -5,  -2,  -2,  -2, , -1, , -1, , -1 fail to male the list   On 1st glance 1 feel I have underestimated Canada, Sweden and Finland, and overestimated GB (obviously) and Netherlands.    If the Russians aren't competing then the Norwegians will have a field day in cross country skiing, but it is too early to tell.   World cups and championships aren't always the best measure for some sports but it's the best I can find.      As an overall trend I feel this will be a strong games for the European nations (home advantage) but the Asian nations might struggle, not necessarily at the extent I predicted here but I don't think their results will be as good as Beijing.
