16 yr old Praggna defeating Magnus is a story in itself. Though Carlsen was not looking in great touch but a loss to a 16 yr old is a huge thing. Especially for India which needs a new star after Vishy should be happy with the result.

Based on February'22 rankings, the seeding pots for 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualification - Third Round is out. The tournament will feature 24 teams divided into 6 groups. Winner of each group and top 5 runner-up shall qualify to the Asian Cup. This time 6 hosts nations have been chosen and there shall be just one-legged round robin among the teams in each group. India is a host nation and is in Pot 1. Fingers crossed for qualification!!. The draw shall be held on 12.30 pm 24 February IST. Below are the pots
