I saw in one of the fb pages, that our sepak takraw team has been qualified for semis and a medal is assured. Can anyone confirm as the site and app are not at all helpful.

Yes - medal assured in sepak takraw..

I watched the match - after it Indians were really celebrating which is fine but an Iranian was sobbing badly...realized later as to why..it was essentially a bronze medal match

Is there any another app or website other than official app.It sucks badly. No mention of startups , timing is bad, navigation through day events is bad, and most disappointing thing is no sorting of games through country wise( which was present in all previuos games apps including Olympics and Commonwealth).

Indonesia really is a pathetic host(sucks is the right word desperately avoiding here).

Webpage and apps are low quality. The opening ceremony was a joke with bike stunts obviously appearing to be made up.

Can take all the above with certain level of commeradorie for being a nation having similar problems.

But what really hurts is the type of games. 16 Gold medals for something called Pencak Silat. Trick to play with medals table. There are many such skewed events. Well done Indonesia. While we all get is a medal or two with a world class hockey teams which is a game seriously played around the world. Even Kabaddi is becoming competitive with South Korea and Iran making India sweat. Still just two medals.

If India were Indonesia, we would have seen games like kho kho, gilli danda, tokkudu billa, asta chamma, thang ta, kothi komacchi, ludo, snake and ladders, pranayamam, Surya namaskaram, shavasanam etc etc etc which will make us overtake big three in medals table.

Olympic Council of Asia should show some brain before allowing such skewed games having so many medals.

Both men in 10m air pistol event are qualified for the final.Hoping for 2 medals in that event.

Sanjeev rajput continued his form in 50m rifle event and still in 1st place in qualifications while a Sharon is in 16th place.
