Loch for some reason leaves his sled behind on the outrun?

Let me guess: He wants to hide those small rockets under the sled that were secretly installed by the Germans? :p

But yeah.. poor run. Hopefully, he won't crack on another mistake in the deciding run at a major event.

Good day in total for our mini-team.

Nice 12th place for Jozef Ninis (with 9th fastest time in run 2).

Our juniors 27th Marián Skupek (7th in the U23) and Jozef Hušla 29th (9th in the U23)

and as mentioned before Vaverčák/Zmij missed the U23 doubles WCh medal by 0.121 to finish 4th in the Juniors competition (and valuable 14th place overall)

Just more of the same. Germans getting 1 km/h higher speed than anyone in the Turbodrom.

Back to the glory days of :GDR Steffi Walter-Martin, Ute Oberhoffner-Weiss, Cerstin Schmidt (they wish).

But also pretty non-surprising (if not expected). Germany is very beatable in relays these days. It also happened at Konigssee WC (to Russia). :dunno:

    • I'll post significant changes periodically. I'll start with the recently added/updated documents.   Archery The addition of mixed compound (12M & 12W) forced a reduction on the recurve side. The mixed compound quotas are distributed as follows   Host - 1 World Championships - 3 Continental Games - 5 World Ranking List - 2 Final Qualifier - 1   To compensate the team events will now only have 8 nations. 2 quotas were removed from the World Ranking List and 2 were removed from the Final Qualifier.   Individual recurve and mixed recurve distribution is the same
    • In Rome, it would be useful to roof the swimming pool complex at Foro Italico, possibly with the option of retracting the roof and covering the tennis court complex. Overall, there's a lot to do, for example, compared to Budapest, but unfortunately, this is Italy How many years has Roma been building their new stadium, and they keep pushing back the completion date- now I read it's 2030? and it should be ready. The same goes for Milan- there should be a modern complex of indoor swimming pools with 50 meters pools, etc., but there's a problem with one stupid football stadium, which will only be built after an ultimatum from UEFA

    • impossible, there are not enough venues in both towns and I mean, Milan doesn't have an Olympic Stadium, a decent Tennis Complex and a big Swimming Complex (not to mention the sea) Rome, on the other hand, doesn't have a Rowing/Canoeing Basin nor arenas and stadiums for the team sports beyond football and rugby there's no chance that all those venues would be built from scratch, meanwhile if we use both cities we already have almost everything we need, especially the most expensive and controversial sites

She wasn’t a top-tier athlete in that program anymore. She was at the end of her career. I would personally would rather race against Katie. She’s not as competitive as the other athletes,” he said. “It’s probably really unfair to say and not really where I want to go with this but that’s where we are with that.”   Uhlaender: “If I were Canada, I would be concerned in how this coach is representing the Olympic values for his country,” Uhlaender told Fox News Digital. “He hurt a whole field of athletes, all with dreams, and this sends the message that they don’t matter unless they are number one. All athletes matter, and we all deserve to compete fairly, with integrity, and respect. He did not respect anyone in that field. “This is not about my resume or how good the athletes were in the race. This is about the fact that he intentionally manipulated the competition to hurt myself and 13 other countries because he felt it necessary to eliminate all possibility. That is against the spirit of sport and not what the Olympic movement represents.”   Isn't it great when other people's dirty laundry is aired?  /sarcasm     (I was a little surprised to see NPR pick this up, but per this article, Uhlaender preemptively recorded the phone call after receiving a text from Cecchini that said he had 'bad news' for her.)
