Which kind of pursuit format exactly? With start times based on a non-medal qualifying race I hope? We already have one atrocity too many with the biathlon sprint and pursuit both being a medal event.

Crnković is going very nicely thus far. Nice redemtpion after failing to qualify in biathlon.

 

Sadly, there are some let's say "challenged" people from skiing clubs who went all out because Crnković got selected in cross-country skiing. According to them biathletes shouldn't be allowed to compete in cross-country because they "already have their sport which they can't change".

Day 1: 7.5km classic + 7.5km freestyle, individual start (no medals)

Day 2: 7.5km freestyle + 7.5km classic, pursuit start with the results of day 1 as start intervals (first to finish wins)

 

And then every major championships change the order of C + F / F + C

That sounds very logical, meaning no way it's gonna happen.
