Yes, I saw this 5 minutes ago :) But I think it could be even more, for example we don't have either China and GB in this relay :(

Did you see China in the single mixed at the Youth Olympics? Now that was one of the best biathlon races I have ever seen

As for GB, I believe they have basically no money. At all...

Unfortunately I didn't watched this, because these Games weren't broadcast by any television in Poland :( But I watched this later in you tube and this last shooting showed why biathlon is exciting and unpredictable sport, nothing isn't know until last biathlete will not on finish line :)

I don't know why they bother with Krystyna Guzik in the mixed relay? It's obvious our guys will blow any chance of a Top 10 result we could have  :wall:

I think that she will be in this race only for avoid LAP in final standing :d

    • This is going to have an effect on very likely 0 athletes, possibly 1 or 2 we don't really know about yet. It's really mostly the cheapest possible way for them to make a sort of political statement, without having any significant backlash since it won't really affect anyone at the top level of international sports.   Edit: worded a bit wrong, I was thrown off by everywhere 'trans women' being mentioned as the target of this. Of course there is also the somewhat larger category of DSD and the likes, which will certainly affect a few athletes - unfortunately they are often thrown under the bus or mentioned as 'not really women anyway' or something like that, despite, you know, being.
    • Mary Rand has died aged 86. The first British woman to win a Gold in track and field at the 1964 Tokyo Games (where she also took home a further two medals in the Women’s 4x100m relay and Pentathlon).
    • Athing Mu competed in the USA trials in 2024 and 2025 post the 2023 rule changes. She also won Gold in 2022 and Bronze in 2023.    Jelimo the jury is out. She doesn’t look male like the other two do.
    • People focus on trans people because it's easier to pinpoint the affected athletes. Meanwhile it's the athletes with (suspected) DSDs that will have tougher time to convince the authorities and the public opinion that they belong to women's sports.
    • badminton queen Carolina Marin announced that she can't take part into the home Europeans in the upcoming weeks because of her injured knee and calls it a career 😭
    • yes, there are (or there was, at least) don't forget that the women's 800m had world and olympic champions like Semenya, Jelimo and Nyonsaba...basically, it was 10 years of DSD winners only the same Athing Mu was suspected to be DSD (never confirmed, but somehow she totally disappeared after Tokyo) then, there were the 2 girls from Namibia (1 won a medal over 200m in Tokyo) in Italy we have the living scandal Valentina Petrillo (a paralympian!!!), who's actually a real man not to mention the weightlifter from who took part into the Tokyo Games so, it's a real problem all around the globe, not just a US crusade against a few woke idiots
    • First big meet ofthe Outdoor Tour is the Maury Plant from Melbourne tomorrow morning.  Good few people from Poland last weekend have made the long plane trip to Oz.   https://worldathletics.org/competitions/world-athletics-continental-tour/news/world-olympic-stars-maurie-plant-melbourne
    • With the MLB season getting underway and with the recent conclusion of the World Baseball Classic, here are the players on opening day rosters broken down by place of birth (including injured players):    United States: 694  Dominican Republic: 89  Venezuela: 60  Cuba: 20  Canada: 19  Japan: 14  Puerto Rico: 14  Mexico: 7  Panama: 5  Colombia: 3  Curacao: 3  South Korea: 3  Aruba: 1  Bahamas: 1  Germany: 1  Great Britain: 1  Honduras: 1  Italy: 1  Nicaragua: 1  Peru: 1  Taiwan: 1
