Is so funny see the Weger brother (one compete for Italy and the other one for Austria, both are from Sudtirol) compete at the exactly same time

It was announced back in July. Our federation immediatelly after the ICF announcement to cancel all this years World Cup stages decided that any of our National Teams in canoeing slalom (seniors or juniors) will compete this season abroad in any race.

All our athletes spend this year in NT isolation competing the whole season only in domestic competitions (but you know, still very high level ) and preparing for next years OG...may be very likely also our only medal(s) we will be able to win in Tokyo so more than logical move

Disappointing frist day for Italy, with both k1 get 50 penality... It's so sad becouse De Gennaro had some medal chances
