Stan Moody was like one red away from leading Kyren Wilson 8-3 and never won another frame losing 7-10.

Antoni Kowalski put up a fight vs Mark Williams in the first session but ultimately fell 4-10. Still a historic moment for :POL snooker!

An odd fact. This is the first time since 1983 that half the quarter finalists have come from outside the UK.

In 1983 it was :CAN:CAN:CAN:AUS

This year :CHN:CHN:IRI:AUS

I can hardly imagine the scenario where he missed that black ball and ended up losing the game. This was the closest Mark Allen has ever been to the final.I think this black ball will haunt him for the rest of his life.Image_1777761675884_377.jpg

I know you meant to put Shaun Murphy here but it’s funny to see Stephen Maguire here and with an English flag :d

Corrected.

I mean it's not as if they didn't mention his name during the commentary.

A complete mental lapse from me

This World Snooker Championship has been absolutely fantastic. From the second round onwards, every frame and every match has been a nail-biting affair with scores remaining tight. It’s an incredibly memorable championship, filled with moments that will stick in the mind. I’m thrilled that Wu Yize has become the first post-2000s player to win the World Snooker Championship.

Personally, I still hope that Ding Junhui has what it takes to challenge for the pinnacle of the championship. Because from the perspective of most Chinese fans, Ding is one of the founding figures of early Chinese snooker. Ever since he made those breakthroughs in his early career, young Chinese players have been steadily growing and developing. When it comes to snooker in China, there isn’t a single young player or ordinary fan who doesn’t know him. All these young Chinese players have drawn motivation to move forward from Ding’s career success.
