WCH is from 11 to 25 with the qualification phase. I know this because I registered myself as volunteer so you have to tell from when to when you'll be there and it starts on the 11th of october

1st Day of competition will be on 26th of October . all information and full schedule are here

:BUL 24th SKDUN WORLD SHOTOKAN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP and 9th SKDUN Kohai Cup – Bulgaria 2016 :BUL

Schedule:

 Monday 3 October: 

Participants arrive to Burgas, settle in and take the opportunity to relax and sightsee.

 

Tuesday 4 October: 

10:00 to 12:00 – Training session – 3 groups – 1) Kyu grades 2) Brown belt to Nidan 3) Sandan and above (1 Senior International Instructor per group).

14:00 to 16:00 – Training session – Instructors rotate groups.

18:00 to 20:00 – choices of Specialist Lecture / Refs course (to 21.00).

 

Wednesday 5 October:

08:30 to 10:30 – Training session – Instructors rotate groups

Break for sightseeing

14:30 to 16:30 – Training session – Instructors rotate groups

18:00 to 20:00 – as above

 

Thursday 6 October:

08:30 to 10:30 – Training session – Instructors rotate groups.

11:00 – SKDUN Grading for any grade (applicants should print out and complete an application form – will be available on SKDUN website)

14:00 to 20:00 – refs course to complete and examinations (practical assessments to take place during the World Championships at the weekend).

18:00 to 20:00 – Board meeting

20:00 – General meeting / prep for the Championships

 

Friday 07 October:

10:00 to 20:00 registration (team manager or a designated person must attend and provide list of all competitors from their country)

14:00 to 20:00 – 9th SKDUN World Kohai Invitational Cup

 

Saturday 08 October:

09:00 to 19:00 – 24th SKDUN World championship

 

Sunday 09 October:

09:30 to 17:00 – 24th SKDUN World championship
