2026 Winter Olympics - Day 4 (February 10)

Recommended Posts

This women's team really reminds me of my Habs of a few years ago. Get a rush opportunity, slow down, go to the outside send a weak wrister vaguely towards the net that will likely get blocked, and if it does get through it goes behind the net where someone might send it in front where absolutely no one is. They're probably on another line change.

It's sad how Troy Ryan has fallen, once being the hero behind the bench in 2022, to now being responsible for everything going on now.

Like I swear the main reason a lot of older players like Jocelyne Larocque and Natalie Spooner are still on this roster is because he himself wants them there, and I can confirm his influence on players that get picked for the roster is pretty big. Just look at the ice time that gives really, and almost every game the geriatric players get more ice time than the younger players. It's been going on for years now,

This is a big thing the US has done much better than Canada for years now: they will pick the best players, even if they are young, even if they are still in the NCAA.

Not picking Primerano was a mind-blowing decision and if it was because of age, that makes it even more stupid.

Do you know who was a teenager in 2010? MARIE-PHILIP POULIN!

and we all know how that turned out.

I'm a casual but it sounds like the older players need to make way for the new generation?

It just needs to be the best players available.

Primerano and Kraemer should both be here

10th for Stephen Gogolev in the figure skating men's short program!

What an Olympic debut for him!

Also a top 15 finish for Embyr-Lee Susko in women's singles luge.

She actually put forward three solid runs, if she had done another on her second she would've been top six.
