tbh, test cricket is antiquated, just unwatchable nowadays   ODI to me is the cricket format, but T20 is fun to watch and keeps the game in reasonable time slots and it's the only forma

The African qualifiers begin today to decide two of the last five remaining slots (the other three will go to Asian national teams). If I had to make a prediction, I would say Zimbabwe and Uganda, which has been growing a lot recently (and unfortunately is also causing Italy more difficulty than expected in the race for ODI status).

:BAN will boycott this tournament because of bad relations with :IND 

:SCO replace them

 

Also a warm up match

:ITA 118 lost to :IRL 119-7 by three wickets. I know this the wrong flag for Ireland but it's easier for everyone to understand if I use this.

Is it official? Until yesterday, there was talk of the possibility of playing them in Sri Lanka.

 

PS. Excellent performance by the Azzurri, they could even have won.

      I am assuming the FIS will fight very hard to keep it.   From a substainability standpoint it also really doesn’t make that much sense to axe Nordic combined as long as ski jumping is in the games anyway. For the same reason that all three sliding sports are basically a package that will live and die together.

      I think Fialkova is 2nd on the World Cup all-time list for most podiums without a win.  Olena Petrova still leads there and  Marie-Laure Brunet is 3rd IIRC but I need to check that.

      I hope they keep it. Even though the sport doesn't exist in Slovakia at all, it's still very exciting to watch.

      will miss this stage because of the Middle East war, since the flights with Qatar Airways have been cancelled and can't be replaced in time (especially for the bicycles)
