Charlton and Tanfield looked decent for the IP later in the week but GB were desperately missing Vernon and Hayter in place of Tidball & Gill here- hopefully they'll be back in the lead up to LA (Maybe even Tarling for Tanfield could be an option by then - Vernon, Charlton, Tarling, Hayter would be an unbelievably strong quartet).

Ohh yeah true, forgot about him. Just hope he doesnt decide to focus 100% on the road now that he's in the Visma dev. team for the next 2 years

In Dutch media Lavreysen announced that he thinks Yakovlev   will be his thoughest opponent this WCh. Besides Richardson  ofcourse, but he mentioned Yakovlev in particular, because he trains with the Polish sprinters now. 

 

In keirin tournament Yakovlev shows his strength with two easy wins. Lavreysen needed the repechage and Richardson is already eliminated

I'm sure he will concentrate on the road after LA but hopefully not until 2029
