Korea with a 3-0 lead after the first inning :yikes:

 

If Yusei Kikuchi is your #2 starting pitcher, Japan could be in serious trouble in the knockout rounds.

and Ohtani with the most predictable home run ever and the game is tied.

 

Edit: and now Seiya Suzuki gives Japan the lead. This is the Korean pitching that I expected.

:KOR Korea with a great chance in the 8th but leave the bases loaded scoring only 1 run. Japan still leads 8-6.
