It is just worth remembering that Colturi and Ljutić, for example, no longer compete in these junior competitions. The worst thing that can happen to Collomb now is that the Italian media will forcefully make her out to be succesor of Brignone and put pressure on her. As of today, she doesn`t seem a talent on the level of Fede or Colturi and such confusion can only harm this young girl.

Switzerland dominates similarly to Austria in the late 90s. It's a pity that instead of focusing on some fluore, FIS can't go towards reducing the dominance of these giants. Without such an advantage in equipment, Switzerland wouldn't be so strong and this, I think can be limited.

Exactly what advantage does Switzerland have in their equipment? Would you mind explaining a little, please?

They have their own technology centers where they work on this. Commentators on Italian TV talk about it very often during broadcasts. Ok, they have a lot of money but FIS has to think whether anyone outside Switzerland will be interested in the fact that 4-5 Swiss players are constantly in first place, especially in the long term perspective. The same thing happened with Austria once and it wasn't good either for all od this discipline.
