Hmm, didn't knew that :SUI Switzerland have been so good at hockey :mumble: They have been waltzing the whole tournament from what i see. Are they actually really good, or it's the usual case of the best players not doing the IIHF WC? :d A.k.a are they in contention for the Olympic title in 8 months?

Funny enough is that may be one of the very last chances for them for a long time again, This generation is very very good, but I am quite worried about the next future, next decade can be very bad for Swiss hockey as we saw last couple of years their juniors teams were bad, there were no major prospect to notice in the last 4-5 drafts, and nothing expecting to arrive in the next one as well, Their U18 even managed to got relegated from top division.

Yeah once the current golden (or silver :D) generation will slowly retire, seeing Swiss dominating will become more and more rare

    • Malinin  opted for the 4-Axel in his Short Program, but faltered, landing him in 3rd thus far (and only 0.05 away from 4th!).  Surely he has the tools to rise back up in the Free Program.  (Also, perhaps this will serve to show him that he is in fact beatable.)
    • I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->

I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
