In all seriousness, former Olympic medalist Henk Grol is co-commentator on Dutch TV in the judo and definitely counts her as much as any other Dutch, but considering they more or less grew up alongside each other for years in judo and of course were part of the same Dutch team for a long time that makes total sense. Personal reasons definitely go ahead of the flag, as they should.

Perez had a waza-ari replaced by a 2nd shido and 20 secs later gets a 3rd shido for head touching the floor on the throw. And just like that Willems (who had two shidos after 90 secs herself) wins

Tóth out, and with that Hungary won't have any medals in judo. Terrible Games from the entire Hungarian Olympic team so far.

Van 't End and Macedo busy avoiding attacks. The judo nowadays is so....negative, in terms of actual attacks

Unbelievably lackluster 'performance' by Van 't End, did not deserve the win for even a single second. Tchau.
