vinipereira 3,092 Posted January 1 Author #183 Share Posted January 1 Shingo Kunieda WHEELCHAIR TENNIS Since the introduction of the Wheelchair Tennis Tour in 1992, there has been no more prominent name than the great Shingo Kunieda, by far the most decorated male player in the history of the sport. Following his first Australian Open victory in 2007, Kunieda went on to win a total of 28 Grand Slam titles in singles and 22 in doubles throughout his career, completely dominating the field for nearly two decades and finishing as the No. 1 player of the year a total of 10 times. At the Paralympic Games, Kunieda is the only one to secure a medal in five consecutive times, winning four gold medals in total, including the 2020 men's singles title in his home country. These achievements alone ensure that his legacy will live on not only among future generations of Japanese players, but also through the Paralympic movement as a whole. vinipereira 3,092 Posted January 1 Author #188 Share Posted January 1 Tom Brady AMERICAN FOOTBALL A name that is synonymous with success, Tom Brady is widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time and one of the best players in NFL history. These titles are not an exaggeration when we consider his achievements during his 23 seasons as a player, 20 of which he spent with the New England Patriots. Brady led the team to 17 division titles, 9 Super Bowl appearances and 6 titles total, all records for a player and franchise. After joining the Buccaneers during his final seasons, Brady went on to win the Super Bowl LV, extending his individual records – which also include most games started. A five-time Super Bowl MVP (a record), Brady was instrumental for the sport's growing popularity in many countries, inspiring a legion of fans around the world and being considered NFL's first true global superstar.
