I feel like a grandpa now....

Impressive, considering that you're only like five years old according to your profile. @Josh is at least a decade your senior I believe :p

by the way, :AUT took their revenge Tonight in Cortina, as Benny Karl edged out Andreas Promegger in the night PGS.

the best :ITA, the veteran Captain Fisch, aka Roland Fischnaller, finished only 3rd

among the women, it went a little better, as :ITA Lucia Dalmasso miraculously came 2nd behind the unstoppable :GER Ramona Theresia Hofmeister.

:AUT Sabine Schoeffman was 3rd.

I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
