There were two wildcards, which Wikipedia claims went to Guyana and Jamaica. The qualification system didn’t explain what would happen if less than 22 NOCs per gender competed at the 2021 and 2022 Pan American Championships.

The only competition left for most countries is the Pan American Championships, but I doubt there will be any significant changes, except Argentina overtaking El Salvador for the last spot giving 3 athletes and Barbados passing over Venezuela for the last spot with 2 athletes,

 

Sadly, I can see Suriname missing the competition, unless some of the other countries drops a quota.
