With his start today, Dovizioso passes Nicky Hayden (RIP) for 3rd in the list of most premier class starts.

This time it's Pol Espargaro to the lead, pushing his KTM past the Ducati's of Dovizioso and Miller on raw power, who would've said that two years ago

Holy crap, horror crash with Zarco and Morbidelli at 300+ km/h. Zarco's bike (I believe) took to the air after that and nearly hit Viñales and Rossi, who escaped some very serious injuries...

 

Zarco first went to check on Morbidelli, then walked away, a little later Morbidelli (with some help) walked into the ambulance himself. All good, by some sort of miracle.

Not Zarco's Honda but Morbidelli's Yamaha, but still. Damn.

Another sensational race in Moto GP. These 4 races brought more excitement and fun than the whole last few seasons. I hope when Marquez returns he won't ruin the unpredictability. 

 

That was some crash today. I still don't know how both bikes missed Rossi. Film stuff right there. 

 

Quartararo's magic seemed to work only in Jerez. Two races since then and he has been subpar. If there hadn't been the crashes today he probably wouldn't crack the top 10. Also Pol Espargaro missed another fantastic podium chance. Just like last week, he was super fast, in great position and then a stupid mistake. I bet he is kicking himself so much. Binder stole the fame right under him. They do love him at KTM, the team were jumping over him for that fourth place today, as if he won again.

Marc Marquez has been ruled out for two-three months now. That was the only sensible decision from day one. They should just announce his season is officially over.

 

Now Jack Miller can fight for that title after all

Maverick Vinales jumps off the bike at like 320 km/h and the bike itself destroys Turn 1 tyre wall. Red flag at Red Bull Ring again.

 

This season has seen some crazy stuff alright.
