So did Andrea Heckner with two 93's in the last rounds. 10th place, 8th and 9th winning the quota. One more of the countless of times that German shooters fail closely to earn a quota place... meh.

With six quota places so far, the German shooting federation comes near to a disastrous outcome regarding the number of participants (15 in Rio).

an absolute chocker!

 

but this is what normally happens when someone is not used to face so much pressure...

 

those to blame are the coaches that didn't select her for most of the previous qualifying events (World Cups, World Champs), rather than this poor girl (who still has his part of responsibility for throwing this chance away in the last couple of shots)...

 

and the same rule applies to Sofia Ceccarello...why the hell she's competing among the juniors here instead of being selected for the major event, when it's obvious that right now she's by far the best Italian Air Rifle specialist???
