Not sure if I'm nagging too much on this, but this actually regards ONLY to a first round tiebreaker. Even on the webpage of MLB referenced by this article it clearly says: "Pool Play and Tie-Breaking Procedures: First Round" it does't say anything regarding FINAL STANDINGS. My take on this is that MLB probably doesn't care much for that and it didn't realise it would be so important fot Olympic qualification (if so: they're stupid, for sure). If we had a clear rule, the MLB it would already have posted something regarding that... -
