0-0 with Estonia at halftime in Italy... It's a decent game, but so what? To even challenge Norway for first place, they'd need a 5-0 win. Right now, the only thing left is a fight for second place with Israel, as even the play-offs aren't guaranteed. At best, we'll be back in the play-offs in the spring, where we lost the last two World Cups. As of 2021, we basically don't have a team, but with good organization and project, we have no right to be worse than Switzerland... We have a better squad, higher-valued players but there's one big shit...

Our team is worth almost 800 million euros on transfermarkt: this is the level of the Netherlands, or slightly lower than Portugal... The entire federation should resign for this cabaret that has been taking place since winning Euro 2021:

Just now, bestmen said:

more you complian more you score , 3-0

It should have been 3-0 after 30 minutes.., as it was clear we needed a big win here. At now, we are 10 goals behind Norway overall and we need to beat them at home.

There is something psychologically wrong with :ITA Italy in the past couple of years (regardless of their win of the Euro in 21). On paper and in their clubs these players are much, much better. But when they gather them for the National team it's like they are blindfolded or something..

Like come on, they could be fielding players from Parma and Lecce and still should be beating Estonia.

But the truly unbelievable part is the lack of forwards and attacking MF's for so many years. I don't understand how they can't produce 2-3 consistent attackers. I'm not even talking about having players with iconic statuses like Del Piero, Totti, Inzaghi or Vieri. There is no one of the calibre of a Luca Toni or a Gillardino, or Di Natale even, who would have done wonders for the current squad.

I've been a fan of the Italian national team for 25 years now and when i see that Retegi and Keen are the best thing they can put out i could literary start crying and i'm not even Italian. :d

    • What are the odds WTA/ITF has Kostyuk vs Potapova AO R1 just to see if the hand shake happens?
    • Malinin  opted for the 4-Axel in his Short Program, but faltered, landing him in 3rd thus far (and only 0.05 away from 4th!).  Surely he has the tools to rise back up in the Free Program.  (Also, perhaps this will serve to show him that he is in fact beatable.)
    • I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->

I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
