I must say, my first impression isn’t very positive. It seems a typical Western European course meant more for riders who have a road/cyclocross background. There are some interesting rock rolls, off-camber turns (especially right after the start), and what might a very muddy and folly forest section at the end of the course. I do like that seems relatively wide, making passing more of an option throughout the course.

 

I quite liked the Rio and Tokyo courses, so maybe this one will grow on me at some point.

It feels like it has some decent downhill sections with a lot of twist and turns. That rock garden about 2/3 through seems awesome. 

I like that it has more woody parts than Olympic tracks usually have (though it makes it harder for me to find a nice spot for the women's race)

Certainly not as much features as we've seen before, but I think it's pretty decent
