A medal would be nice, first of all :d

Oh they'd be mightily disappointed with a silver or bronze (and rightfully so). This is not the kind of situation where you 'win bronze' or something :p

If Aline Rocha gets bronze, yeah, that would certainly be awesome. Cristian Ribera getting bronze would be a major disappointment.

China is very strong in men's sitting sprint though, and there's always Romele and the Ukrainians. I mean it's doubtful that he doesn't win gold, but we'll see.

If :CHN allows it, right? :d

Nowadays he is generally in a league of his own, also when the Chinese compete :p

Bruna was in touch with the para team's coach yesterday (her very first coach of many years ago and former Olympian Leandro Ribela), and there are no issues or anything. If he's indeed healthy and doesn't fall, he should be at least a 90% favourite or so. If not more.

I don't know if Romele has been somewhat sick or injured for the past two years, but if not, one may - judged by every recent competition - reasonably expect him to be 5-10 seconds behind Cristian (perhaps not in qualifying, but in the finals, yeah) :p

It's good to know that. I'm still traumatized by Beijing 2022, when the Chinese came out of nowhere to dominate the event.
