Relay lineups for prelims:

 

Men's 4x100 free: Gaziev -> Acevedo -> Fullum-Huot -> Liendo

 

Pretty much the A lineup. 3/4ths of a quality team. Glad Liendo is on the end so he can hopefully hunt down some teams in front of him. Wouldn't be surprised if they made the final or didn't make the final

 

Women's 4x100m free: MacNeil -> Harvey -> Savard -> Ruck

 

Looks like we've opted for the veteran swimmers over the youngsters. Very risky to put Ruck on anchor if she isn't in form. Hopefully her being on anchor means that the coaches are confident in her swimming.

 Kharun ties Liendo's Canadian Record with a 23.27 in the 50 butterfly heats! Both him and Liendo qualify for the semifinals in T9th and T15th.

Summer easily through to the final. Jansen with a 4:12 in prelims though. That does not bode well for the 4x200 relay

Wigginton 4:13.75 400 IM! That's a PB. That 4:12.50 OQT looks within reach now

Gagne also with a PB! Wigginton misses the final by one spot :cry: Wigginton was the second youngest swimmer fwiw in this event

      Hoffman & Raimund are the only Germans who had decent results this season. Geiger did nothing aka even less than Paschke and one dead cat bounce here after OG nominations shouldn't matter and it clearly doesn't. I support German nomnations. Geiger should be nowhere near 2026 OG.

      Paschke is completely out of form, so if he were to withdraw on his own, they could make a change for medical reasons? For now, Geiger should be jumping in duets with Hoffman, as Raimund is weaker now.
