Some unfortunate injuries for in the WTT Finals. Sun Yingsha withdrew from her semifinal bout; however, she was still set to play in the XD finals with Wang Chuqin. I didn't watch the bout, but it seems that both SYS and WCQ played the XD finals, but lost to ; however, at some point, WCQ must have injured himself, as he withdrew from his own semifinal against Truls . Couple that with a Lin Shidong loss to Harimoto , and we have a non-Chinese Men's Singles finals. (But not to worry, China. You still had an all-Chinese Women's Singles Final.) -
I think that's gonna be the standard for almost everyone. I've heard each country has to submit the final roster until the end of December. -
Is it that bad? Who are some other Polish medal contenders?

Generally, something's happening: a Bulgarian, a Frenchman, an Estonian... It's just a shame that the Italians are getting worse with each passing four-year cycle, when it should be the other way around. I don't know why these people are getting money (staff, coach etc), but someone like Insam was performing brilliantly until the 2024 WGP, when he was at Faubert's level, and where are they now? -
