14:00  Crvena Zvezda Belgrade (SRB) - Irbis-Skate Sofia (BUL)

18:00  Zeytinburnu Istanbul (TUR) - Skautafeag Akureyri (ISL)

 

*Belgrade Red Star and Sofia will play tomorrow for the first place and ticket for the second round, Istanbul and Akureyri are mathematically already out.

*Belgrade Red Star need 1 point tomorrow, so any Regular Time win, Overtime or GWS Win or Lose will be enough for the Serbian champion to top the group.

**Sofia need to beat Belgrade in Regulation Time. If Istanbul will defeat Akureyri in Regulation Time as well, Sofia will need to beat Belgrade by 3 goals margin.

 

 

Group 2

in Mechelen (:BEL) (GMT +2)

*San Sebastian is already the assuerd winner of the tournament and will advance into the 2nd round, no matter the results of tomorrows matches will be, since they have won both games against the 3 points teams of Zagreb and Herentals..

**Also Bat-Yam is assured to finish on last position of this group since they lost in H2H confrontations with both Zagreb and Herentals.

***Zagreb and Herentals will play in the direct match "just" for the 2nd and 3rd place in the group.

      Shades of 1998 with  and  in the same group but this time it's really a terrible draw for the Thistles. I recall Brazil and Scotland played in the same group in 1974 and 1990 too so that's quite a high probabiliy rate.
