Women’s team through to the semifinals at HSBC SVNS Madrid! 

 

VERY good 26-17 upset win over New Zealand, and a 22-17 win over Great Britain, combined with a narrow 26-19 loss to United States.

In the end it’s a 4th. Narrow 19-17 loss to France in the semifinals, and 26-14 to New Zealand for bronze.

This was the proposed venue for the 2015 Pan Am Games rugby sevens competition before it was moved away. I feel like that would have saved the venue. Oh well.

The men shutout their opposition to win the 2024 RAN sevens and qualify for the challenger series.

4th for our women’s team at the HSBC SVNS stop in Perth. 
 

Lost two tight matches in a row to Australia and France, and went undefeated in the group stage so a solid showing.
