Today in Albania (World U23 Champs) both guys got disqualified obviously
A bit warmup for the real deal. World Championships (non-Oly weights) and the big battle of Taylor/Sadulaev/Ghasempour
I'm still going to keep my eternal hopes for kabaddi
I highly doubt I'm going to be really aware of cricket's existence in LA, other than a quick glance at the results, but kabaddi...oh boy, that'd be on the list of high priority sports in my viewing schedule
6:10 for Ghiotto in Inzell, that's the new World Lead in the 5000m
Arianna Fontana in only the 3rd italian in the 3000m, but I think that she will try to snap a place in the team in the mass start.
I mean, there are plenty of Olympic sports and events that cater very specifically to North America, East Asia and (especially) Europe, I don't think it's a bad thing to have one sport that caters to the Indian subcontinent. Especially since that's more people than North America and Europe combined.
Also, IMO on the merrits cricket is definitively worthy of Olympic inclusion.
Julio Velasco has been confirmed as the head coach of the women's Italian National Team until the 2028 Olympic Games
meanwhile, Karch Kiraly has switched position and now he's the new head coach of the US men's National Team (always looking forward to the 2028 Olympics in LA)
