I think there's a mistake in men's combined start list. :ITA Piccolruaz has 9728 points and that's correct, but :KOR Kim Hanwool should have 9520 and be in front of him and in semifinal.

It's only for fun but if we assume that competitors will make the same results as in regular competition than finals and olympic quotas will look like this (for speed I included qualification results because I think that they are more meaningful than finals, but it didn't make bigger difference).

Men's OQ:

1. :JPN Narasaki

2. :CZE Ondra

3. :AUT Schubert

4. :ITA Fossali

5. :CAN McColl

6. :GER Megos

7. :KAZ Khaibullin

Women's OQ:

1. :SLO Garnbret

2. :JPN Noguchi

3. :POL Miroslaw

4. :GBR Coxsey

5. :SLO Krampl

6. :FRA Jaubert

7. :KOR Seo

Men's podium:

1. :JPN Narasaki

2. :CZE Ondra

3. :AUT Schubert

Women's podium:

1. :SLO Garnbret

2. :JPN Noguchi

3. :POL Miroslaw

as I wrote before, not all the athletes that competed in the 3 individual disciplines are eligible for the Combined event (the climbers fighting for the Combined spots had to be named in advance, before the championship started -and there was a limit to each NOC about the number of those entries)...

probably, Kim H.W. wasn't among the climbers chosen by the Korean team for this event (or he did retired from that because of an injury sustained in the past days...who knows?)...:mumble:

edit: nevermind...wrong interpretation of facts and rules...

no, it's not wrong...as they used only the quali in each discipline (not the overall result, as I wrote just a few seconds ago)...

now everything is clear...

EDIT: correction...they're wrong and you're right...they really made an error calculating the points of the Korean...:yikes::facepalm:

probably they will correct that in the next hours and Piccolruaz will have a tough awakening tomorrow (Japanese time)...:yikes::facepalm:

I don't get it. Both Kim and Piccolruaz didn't advance to any final so there's results are the same final or not. Piccolruaz has 32x19x16=9728 and it's correct, Kim has 16x35x17=9520 but he has 10106,25. Why?

There's also a chance that the tripartite quota won't be allocated (I think Pakistan in the men's was the only eligible nation competing at the World Championships) so that would be another quota reallocated to the world championships.

sorry, as I wrote before, you're right...it's just that I couldn't believe they were wrong with the simple maths...

Kim is 16th tied with another in lead and 17th tied with another in boulder

16.5×35×17.5= 10106.25
