Well, this is not gonna be a walk in the park for Roest. Just got roasted by Eitrem in the 5000 m.

Incredible 5k by Eitrem, throwing in three 28's like old-school Sven Kramer  

 

Definitely going to be one of my highlights of the winter season. Young athlete, incredible race at a major championship in front of a full home crowd. Fantastic.

They learned from Gerard van Velde (Kok's coach), who used to simply do a full lap super slow to recover after a false start  

 

He was visibly laughing, together with Leerdam's coach (who used to be his coach as well), when they were doing the same

Total meltdown for Roest who even had to give the right of way to Eitrem.

 

Will be an easy home victory for the Norwegian then.
