yes (but it's blocked in selected markets)...

however, Italy (and Croatia, I think) are not among them...

p.s. very disappointing Russians...they left half the regular team home to rest and called up 12 guys from their farm teams to play the traditional tournament in Davos...:nopompom:

 

if I were the boss of the organizing committee, i'd pay them half the promised fee...:evil::whistle:

    • It's waaaay too expensive & inconvenient. Basically WOG minus the bobsleigh track & indoor arena for figure skating/hockey(which is the easy part of Olympic bid). Just won't happen anytime soon. Winter sports are too facility dependant and the entire alpine skiing requires a separate venue.
    • The ISU is looking into a combined World Championships for its 4 disciplines.   The FIS tried this and it appears the progress there has stalled.

    • Also a first: never before has a Dutch pair participated in the games, according to media rapports.
    • The Technical director of the Dutch Olympic Committee has, using his discretionary powers, decided to include them in the team. He cites “extra-ordinary circumstances”, but has not stated what they are. The use of these powers is quite rare. They were used in 2022 to nominate an alpine-skier.
