Biggest news of the day and no posts here yet! Puck Pieterse wins her debut world cup!!

I was thinking how impressive a top 10 result would be for her and she just goes and beats multiple world champion Ferrand Prevot to the win. Super impressed!

Was a bit lucky that :GBR Evie Richards got a puncture & a terrible wheel change when 15 secs in the lead.  But obviously a big win for her.

:SUI Lenzerheide Elite Cross Country World Cup

Men:

1. :SUI Nino Schurter

2. :RSA Alan Hatherly

3. :FRA Jordan Sarrou

Women:

1. :FRA Loana Lecomte

Nino Schurter finally wins his 34th world cup to definitively pass Absalon as the most succesful rider in the world cup! They've been tied on 33 victories for almost a year by now. And Schurter does it on homeground in Switzerland!:hyper:

Meanwhile Pieterse finishes her second world cup in 5th. This is turning out to be a stellar debut year for her already!

    • Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2025      Thank you Slovenia! Argentina get their second 12 points of this year's contest to keep their hopes of a podium finish very much alive.   Big points also for Italy who become the 3rd nation to breach the 100-point barrier and they close the gap to France in 2nd.   That concludes the third session of this year's TISC Annual. Ireland maintain the lead as they have from the very start of the contest. Their lead now stands at 28 points which is sizeable though not insurmountable with 8 juries still to vote, including Ireland.   We will take a 1 hour 30 minute break now and will resume the fourth and final session at 19:00 GMT.      Juries Voted: 26/34    1  Ireland 2 136  18  Guatemala   53  2  France 4 108  19  Netherlands   51  3  Italy 11 102  20  Tunisia   50  4  Argentina 12 96  21  Denmark   49  5  Romania   85  22  Poland   48  6  Albania 9 85  23  Sweden 1 46  7  Spain   84  24  Lithuania 3 45  8  Germany 7 84  25  Malta 5 43  9  Canada   74  26  Turkey 10 43  10  Mexico   73  27  Greece   37  11  Serbia   66  28  Slovenia   36  12  Kazakhstan 8 65  29  China   34  13  Portugal   65  30  Bulgaria   32  14  Great Britain 6 63  31  Indonesia   30  15  United States   62  32  Slovakia   28  16  Ukraine   57  33  Brazil   28  17  Israel   55  34  India   15
