It's hard to get excited for a sport that practically has 3 events in the year and they are nowhere to be seen on the TV. No build-up, no promotion, don't know who are the best athletes, are they competing?

The European Games are the perfect thing for such federations / sports to get some attention on them. I can't understand, why they don't want to make the event like a mini-Olympics..

That’s what I think too. Rowing is more onboard with the European Championships model though, I think.

Cycling, GSSE highlights, X Games, maybe some old European Games replays to get hyped for this edition. It’s the first week of summer here in America, so I probably just relax too.

are you not going to watch the Stanley Cup finals? :yikes::hairpull::redcard::spank:

tbh, here in Italy this sport always has live tv coverage on our public sport channel (also this EChs on Sunday)...

and I'm pretty sure the Italian TV is not the only one following this champs...

moreover, I guess everybody around the world can still watch the entire event in streaming (or at least the finals, for sure)...:mumble:

There is no good type of hockey, though I do enjoy a good game of Ice Hockey, at least its entertaining. Ice Hockey is my least favorite winter sport and field Hockey is my least favorite summer sport.

Wait what, Serbia just completely blew up? :yikes:

Or (according to the co-commentator) did they pass a line/break some rule or something?

Apparently yes.. but I haven't idea why they decided to stop their race

I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
