I'm still asking myself how on earth both the Italian Epee teams couldn't even make the semifinals after the dominating performance in the individual events?

 

however, we still won the most medals overall (and we're second in the Gold Medal ranking)...so, in the end it wasn't a bad campaign, after all...the future of our Fencing is still somehow promising...

I went to high school and ran cross country with Stephen Ewart. I always joked that he’d make the Olympics one day. I’d like to think I can predict the future. (He’s also a way better fencer than runner, though he’s better at both than me) (We were good friends, but better enemies)
