They'll be fine. This world cup stop doesn't count for Olympic Rankings and there's a surplus of Olympic quotas meaning every country that completes on the world cup should qualify at least one sled.

Seeing that Canada only entered athletes in women's singles at this weeks World cup. Anyone know what's up with that?

Are the Canadian women`s double planning to compete at the Olympics? Looking at the World Cup competitions, they have good results? This is important because the absence of Canada or China means the entry of a second German double... I'm interested in this, because no one in Italy wants two German women doubles

 

Two, if Canada loses the QO in the men's single (almost certain for today), will they unable to field a team? Or is it possible that if Canada and China are both miss of a QO in the men's single, the IOC will allow them to add the missing member so they can field a team? With the absence of Canadian and Chinese teams, only eight teams will compete in the team- relay.
