Yes, just a direct knockout is ridiculous.

 

In the T2 Rugby forum, I proposed doing the tournament over two weekends, with the group phase in the first, and the knockout phase in the second.

I know since like two weeks ago that our team won't get past QF as they will play NZ, who are seeded lower than usual because they skipped world series stages. This tournament is very stupid and IMO the champion will have less merits than any series stage winner. :wacko:

We lost, obviously, but by a short margin. 

 

No luck whatsoever for our team lately, not only due to the draw but also our best player missed the game with gastroenteritis. 

 

 

Ireland is in semifinals which is the big surprise. They took down England and South Africa.  

 

Now it's :NZL v :IRL and :AUS v :FIJ for the title.
