Some very positive numbers for Lausanne 2020: https://www.olympic.org/news/lausanne-2020-a-popular-and-financial-success
 

• 640,000 people attended the games

• 350,000 spectators filled the venues

• Global TV audience of 150 million

• IOC social media gained 450,000 followers during the games

• Olympic Channel had at least 3 million unique viewers during the games
• Most importantly, the games ran a budget surplus of 400,000 CHF

The Olympic Channel debuted a new show that follows select sliding athletes at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics. I’m thinking this is one of a couple reasons why they didn’t choose to the live stream the sliding events. Anyway, the first episode was uploaded to YouTube, and I thought it was a good watch.
