Sadly, just as expected the Augsburg track is one of the least popular for our team and our style. No Slovak advanced to the W K1 Final..

W K1 Finalists

Funk :GER

Lilik :GER

Horn :ITA

Tercelj :SLO

J. Fox :AUS

Woods :GBR

Chourraut :ESP

C. Prigent :FRA

Wegman :NED

Zwolinska :POL

Will be a major upset if :GER will not end 1-2. Their semifinal runs were just from another planet, the home track is a huge advantage in this sport, but this was something  !

Quite a lot of surprising names in the Final, many strong names failed in the semifinals, The most noticeable flop is for the host, No German advanced to the final at home track is quite an upset.

No 1-2 but 1-3 for :GER, Olympic champ Funk retained her title, Elena Apel now known under her Mr. perfect surname Lilik won bronze with a 2 second penality. Jess Fox trolled the host show with her silver despite enormous mistake at the last upstream gate...but managed to survive with her usual luck to at the end even win in silver

IOC president, Fencing 1976 Olympic Champion himself, just spotted in the finish area.

:CZE world champion in M K1 oagain, but not the expected one, Prskavec with 2 hits finished outside of the podium, it is Vit Prindis who is the new World Champion.

Silver for Italian De Gennaro and Bronze for French old man Boris Neveu.

Slovaks shitty as always. Augsburg is definitely not our promised land :p

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
    • Wisła Płock just assumed 1st position after five consecutive draws. Must be first time ever a team on a five match winless streak actually moves up to league top.
    • Well ya, which is why the Egyptian and Iranian teams can shut up and dribble :P
    • The problem is, the World Cup is not a local event. Overall it's another storm in a teacup. LGBT rights in Muslim countries won't change a damn inch becuse of one soccer match in Seattle
