My favorite part of the Mixed Team Sprint Final: the cameraman at the finish offering the finishing ladies tulips

“Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Sport can create hope where once there was only despair” - Nelson Mandela

    • Not sure where to post this, but Greece is rewarding all athletes who finished in the top 8 in Paris. 30.000 euros for gold medalists, 20.000 for silver, 15.000 for bronze, and 10.000 for athletes finishing 4th-8th. If you were part of a team, then you only get half the amount.   So this means: 30.000-Apostolos Christou (20.000 + 10.000), Miltiadis Tentoglou 15.000-Emmanouil Karalis, Dauren Kurugliev, Eleftherios Petrounias, Theodoros Tselidis 10.000-Kristian Gkolomeev, Theodora Gkountoura, Emmanouela Katzouraki, Stefanos Ntouskos, Stefanos Tsitsipas 7.500-each member of Fitsiou/Kontou and Gkaidatzis/Papakonstantinou teams 5.000-each member of Anastasiadou/Bourmpou, Malkogeorgou/Platanioti, men's basketball, men's water polo, and women's water polo teams   It's nothing extravagant like other countries do, but some nice bonuses for these athletes, except of course Tsitsipas and the men's basketball players which really don't need this money.
    • after some gazillion of years FC Sankt Pauli won a Bundesliga game   Worth a beer to me ! cheers folks
    • The talented Martina Buršíková won silver medal at the European Junior Championship in Bouldering
    • Calling Netanyahu a war criminal and specifically saying someone like Nasrallah or Haniyeh isn't is rather laughable, to be fair. Just like calling Nasrallah a war criminal and Netanyahu a 'good guy' is equally laughable. Both have the blood of thousands of innocent civilians, including children, on their hands and both have a very, very special place in hell waiting for them.
    • Lolllll besides bombing the entire north with 10,000 rockets.   And killing kids in majdal shams,  but it means nothing to you terrorist.     Don't worry.  Your other friends will join him soon enough.   I'm sure Sinwar is not alive for much longer as well.    Fuck around and find out.   Hopefully Iran decides to attack as well because we will destroy their oil fields and nuclear reactors before they know what hit them.
    • War criminal !!! Hezbollah didn't kill any civilian    Haniya already killed in iran
    • not true ,only fake accounts    He was protecting them against terror of Satanyahu , anyway hezbollah didn't die ...there will be another leader
    • LOL no one can get him , he is the god of this planet
    • Hahahahaha not even a medal for Vollering   Kopecky with back to back titles.
