Bormolini has consistently failed at major events since 2023: he dominates the World Cup, then wins the World Championship qualifications, but is quickly eliminated in the knockout phase. I think this is good information material before the Olympics next year. Fortunately, in alpine snowboarding, Italy has a very strong and deep squad, and even the poorly performing Bormolini is effectively replaced by other colleagues. But let's not make it so sweet, the women's team from Italy is very average and mediocre. What's worse, the Italians, as the host, were not able to force the IOC to add another 2 events - a parallel slalom to the Olympic program (which Russia can do in Sochi 2014), or team competitions, which is why it`s really only 1 event at the Olympics, where we have 6-7 great snowboarder. -
