Wrestling UWW World Championships 2018

Recommended Posts

It was very bad to see a wrestler running for 15 seconds and he got no penalty at all. Demirtaş was really not prepared for this tournament. He could not score any point in his last 3 matches but still, the guys who try to win medals without wrestling was the reason that wrestling almost pushed out of the olympics and we still see it in the freestyle.

the Russian coach Dzhambulat Tedeyev is probably banned for the rest of the competition because he received a red card. he is not in the corner for 74kg final

I didn't expect a close match. Sidakov won the gold but I'm very surprised by Kentchadze's performance here. and that 2pts for Sidakov was indeed controversial. Kentchandze stepped out first . Sidakov pulled him back to the center of the mat and completed his take down since that wasn't the continue of the previous action they should gave him just 1pt. I assume the Georgian coaches didn't notice that to make a challenge.

I think the coach came back at the end of the bout and continued his obnoxious behavior by giving him the flag even before the bout was announced

yeah he was the coach behind the coach noticed that later :d he is their head coach. a friend of Putin himself. he owns UWW. banning him after the red card is the normal penalty but they can't even do that :d bullying the ref worked well for them to make sure nothing bad will happen in the next final. and now we have two back to back matches vs Russia. our guys should be careful.

Wow, I was thinking Yazdani is a real beast but look at Taylor. He beat all the opponents quite easily, he was even clearly better than Yazdani. Great performance. 86kg is I think the hardest and most challenging one with 74 kg in freestyle.

I would vote Taylor as the best wrestler of the tournament so far and he clearly deserved it. but that's not really correct. Yazdani was dominating him until he gassed . no excuse that's part of the game but it wasn't like he was dominating or something. Yazdani needs to learn some strategies. he does the same thing against all opponents. and if he can't finish it in 3-4 minutes. he is in trouble. I just hope he learns from this. that was a good learning lesson.

    • (Quiet gaming, zero social pressure, no calls, no KYC… just peace.) As someone who’s definitely on the introverted side, I’ve always hated anything that feels intrusive — long registrations, support calls, verification uploads, or sites that spam you into interacting. So over the past year, I tested a bunch of crypto casinos specifically to see which ones are introvert-friendly: ✔ no forced KYC ✔ fast payouts (so no long back-and-forth with support) ✔ clean, quiet UI ✔ no pop-ups and no social pressure ✔ easy deposits ✔ minimal interaction needed Below is what actually worked for me. ⭐ My Top Crypto Casinos for Introverts (Real Testing Results) Casino Why It’s Introvert-Friendly Speed Link JackBit Quiet UI, no KYC, instant payouts 7 min 👉 Play at JackBit BetWhale Low-pressure bonuses, simple layout 14 min 👉 Play at BetWhale BitStarz Fast cashouts, no forced conversations 9 min 👉 Play at BitStarz ThunderPick Clean minimalist design 18 min 👉 Play on ThunderPick 7Bit Casino Extremely chill, no notifications 22 min 👉 Play at 7Bit 1. JackBit – The Most Comfortable Casino for Quiet Players If you’re introverted like me, JackBit is basically perfect. BetWhale – Best for Quiet Bonus Hunters BetWhale surprised me — their bonuses are generous without requiring chats, emails, or ID checks. Why it works for introverts: Wagering progress updates silently No pushy pop-ups The whole site feels “low-pressure” Support never contacts you unless you message first It’s a very low-interaction platform.   👉 Play at BetWhale (Smooth & Simple) 3. BitStarz – Fast Payouts Means Less Interaction BitStarz is great if you want to deposit, play, withdraw and leave — quick and efficient, no conversations needed. What I like: Withdrawals are some of the fastest online No random KYC prompts if you use crypto Very stable gameplay (no need to contact support) A calm, mature-feeling interface Perfect for players who like things to “just work.”   👉 Play at BitStarz (Quick & Quiet Gaming) 4. ThunderPick – Best for Introverts Who Like Betting Too ThunderPick has one of the smoothest, cleanest interfaces I’ve used. Everything is intuitive and visually quiet — no clutter, no noise. Introvert-friendly perks: Great for casual betting without chat rooms Mobile interface is extremely calm No forced community features You can switch between casino & sports without talking to anyone     👉 Play on ThunderPick (Minimalist Interface) 5. 7Bit – The Chillest, Quietest Crypto Casino 7Bit feels like a casino designed for people who want to be left alone. • It's not a coincidence that a lot of the matches that are earlier in the day are in Atlanta and Houston and Dallas where they have roofs.  And most of the games in the outdoor stadiums are later in the day.
    • The best athletes will all be there anyway – it's easier to get a spot in the top 10-15. Only the great champions were ahead of Gismondi today.
    • They are not "oppressed enough" to be mention here.
    • And remember the Olympic Paradox - it is slightly easier to get a medal at the Olympics than at a World Cup because in the Olympics the numbers of racers from the powerful nations are capped at 4.
    • Jimmy Mariano  basketball. 84 years old.   Member of the Philippine men’s basketball team at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Flag bearer for the Philippine delegation at those Games.
    • Franchi had a similarly impressive performance at the 2023 World Championships on the same distance but later she completly missing. I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
    • The last day was a great success, for first. Secondly, even 20 medals are fewer than the 22 from 2023 and 34 from 2021
