After defeating United States in the last group A round robin session, qualifies directly for the semifinals, as both teams finish 6-1.  and  (same record as Sweden at 5-2, but Japan won the H2H) are off to the qualification games. 

also progressed directly the semifinals, albeit before the final group B round robin session as at 5-1 (now 6-1, after defeating Brazil 9-4) they couldn’t fall behind either Italy or Denmark (the only two teams that were at 4-2) as Great Britain defeated both of them in previous games. 
 

 and  are through to the playoff qualification games, Denmark advancing with a 5-2 record after defeating Canada 4-2, Switzerland after defeating Italy 8-7 in an extra end (Switzerland, South Korea, and Italy were all at 4-3, but Switzerland advances by virtue of their 2-0 H2H)

 

 No playoffs for Canada, what a disaster. We were only down 2-3 heading into the final end (with hammer), and at the very least I thought we could’ve forced an extra end, but nope we give up a steal.
