Does not look very likely right now, so I voted No. but yeah you never know with yuesey, they can finish pretty well with more

I predicted 9 for them in my predictions. Shiffrin in alpine combined, Meyers Taylor in monobob, Nathan Chen, Chloe Kim, Jamie Anderson, Red Gerard, Erin Jackson, Brittany Bowe and theens team pursuit. Since there's no "same number of medals" option, I'll vote less because a lot of those events have high variance and they arey country's biggest rivals :p.

Doesnt seem very likely. I am not an expert when it comes to american sport, but after some quick research i would say that 12 golds would be the absolute perfect case, so 10+ golds seem very ambitious. I would say 7 or 8 golds would already be a really good result for them. Not sure how many gold medal favorites the US actually has? Nathan Chen, Chloe Kim, Elana Meyers (monobob) and ... ?

Anderson, Gerard and Jackson all winning gold seems very unlikely. I think they could also win golds in men's/women's ice hockey, men's big air/halfpipe/slopestyle freestyle skiing, women's 2-man bob, women's slalom/giant slalom, men's 1500 m speed skating and maybe even women's cross-country skiing.

    • I'm sure she is riding as a freelance, not really part of the US team.  Guessing the World Cup team is official, maybe some juniors on the 2nd level circuit are also official, but she is probably just doing it herself, or with friends helping.
    • Exactly, why not? It will be interesting to see if Uhlaender races in Sunday's Asian Cup. Very little opportunity to improve her score but they are not giving her the opportunity to race in WC or EC tomorrow. She has 84 points as her 7th best, so there is still a very small opportunity for her to be the American no. 2. Ro only needs a 23rd place I think to stay ahead. Just noticed she did not race at all in the first four NA cup races, but was registered for two, so more to her story for sure.
    • Or the American team can arrange their internal ranking to be as if Canada entered all their athletes.
    • You kind of wonder if some of it is misdirected. I mean, the americans get 3 entries in the world cup and she is not one of them so it was a near impossible task from the beginning. It seems like when she was doing well they could have reconsidered their top three for the January races, then she would have had a decent chance. Or her team could have entered more americans in earlier races too to boost the score of the first four NA cup races, but they didn't. So what were her conversations like with the american coaching team like?
